Sabrina has been our Administrator since August 2018. She began working here as an LPN in July 2015. Sabrina oversees the operations of the facility and meeting the needs of the residents. Prior to her career with us, Sabrina has 8 years of experience in healthcare. “I enjoy working for and with the elderly.” Sabrina is a graduate of Pinckneyville Community High School, she received an associate’s degree in business and nursing from Rend Lake College, and her bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and participating in 5k marathons.

Jessica West – Business Office Manager

Jessica joined our staff in May 2013. She began working here as a CNA, and was promoted to Activity Director in May 2017 before becoming the Business Office Manager. Jessica plans and organizes activities and events that engage residents, encourage socialization, provide entertainment, and improve daily living skills. “I have always loved caring for people, and I love spending time with the residents, they are so much fun to be with!” Jessica is a graduate of Pinckneyville Community High School, and she received an associate’s degree in Arts, Science, and Applied Science in Nursing from Rend Lake College. Jessica is married to her high school sweetheart, Alex, and together they have a Yorke named Evie, who is full of sass! In her free time, she enjoys making wreaths and spending time with friends and family.

Hope Anastasio – Life Enrichment Director

My name is Hope Anastasio and I am originally from Kansas. Before I became a Life Enrichment Director I was a Lead Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten Teacher for 5 years! I am the youngest sibling out of 7! If I could encourage anyone to do anything in life it would be to go outside early in the mornings when the sun is just rising or go outside in the evening when the sun is setting and really take it in. I feel as if people often forget how Beautiful this World really truly is because they are so focused on other things around them, so it never hurts to take that quick moment to yourself and think of the things you are thankful for but also get a reminder that there is something beautiful in everyday, you just have to find it.

Melody Martie – Dietary Manager

Melody has been with us since May 2013. She oversees the dining services and ensures the residents have a variety of delicious home-cooked meals. Melody has been working in dietary since she was in high school. “I have enjoyed cooking my entire life, and I love making the residents happy with the food I cook!” She is a graduate of Pinckneyville High School, and received her bachelor’s in food & nutrition from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Melody and her husband, Don, have two children, Scott and Matthew, and a toy poodle named Shadoe. When she’s not busy cooking, she likes to crochet, quilt, and read.
